No, we are DRD Precision and have never been affiliated with DRD Tactical.  We specialize in precision AR platform rifles.

What is the turnaround time for a custom firearm order?

The turnaround time for a custom firearm order varies. Some builds take 3-6 weeks, while others may take 2-3 months depending on parts availability. If we have a completed firearm in stock, it can be ready in just a few days.

Can I order a firearm if I live in a different state?

Yes, you can order a firearm from a different state as long as it meets your state's legal requirements. While it's your responsibility to ensure compliance, we will also verify that the firearm adheres to your state's laws before building and shipping it.

Will my firearm be shipped directly to me?

Accepted Answer

No, firearms ordered will be sent to a local firearms dealer with a Federal Firearms License (FFL). You will need to visit the dealer to complete the necessary paperwork, including a background check and ATF form 4473, as well as any state-specific requirements.  Any accessories or complete uppers can be shipped directly to you.  Only lower receivers require an FFL transfer.
